Specific activities of the position:

• Teaching seminars and labs for the subjects in the curriculum.
• Scientific research in the field of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology.
• Participation in administrative activities within the department.

Responsibilities/ activities related to the position:

• Teaching seminars and labs for the subjects in the curriculum and preparing teaching materials.
• Guiding students throughout the teaching process.
• Advising students on preparing their graduation theses.
• Improving and modernizing the teaching technologies used in the educational process;
• Participation in research projects in the field of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, resulting in the publication of scientific articles in journals or conference proceedings.
• Presenting personal research at scientific communication sessions, national and international conferences.
• Participation in administrative activities within the department.

In accordance with the provisions of the Framework Law No. 153 of June 28, 2017, regarding the remuneration of staff paid from public funds.

• Sequential circuits: flip-flops, registers, counters, finite state machines

The candidate will be evaluated by the competition committee based on:

1. the relevance and impact of scientific results;
2. the candidate’s ability to guide students or young researchers;
3. teaching competence;
4. the ability to transfer knowledge to the economic or social environment or to popularize scientific results;
5. the ability to work in a team and the efficiency of scientific collaborations, depending on the specific field;
6. the ability to carry out or lead research and development projects;
7. professional experience in institutions other than UPB
